PROJECT THREE (A) – JUNE 2007
‘WISH’ ATC - By Jean Hardy

Originally dreamed up by a Swiss artist in 1996; Artist Trading Cards, or ATC’s, must measure 2 1/2” x 3 1/2”, the size of a playing card, and can only be swapped, not sold. These are the only rules and after that you can have great fun with these miniature original works of art.
I enjoy making ATC’s and often demo them at shows as they are a perfect size to start and finish in quite a short time. Give the idea a go and you will soon be hooked.
Crafty Individuals Stamps Available:
To Make the ATC
From a piece of good quality thick white card cut an oblong measuring 60mm x 85mm. Colour the card with washes of Twinkling H2O’s from pink/purple on the right hand side across through orange to yellow on the left hand side.
Ink up Crafty Individuals stamp CI – 110 with a Ranger Archival ‘Jet Black’ stamp pad – available on this website, and stamp the image of the young girl onto Haza white tissue paper – also available on this site. Cut out the tissue paper image around the top of the head of the girl, leaving the bottom part of the collage image intact. Use adhesive to glue the cut out tissue piece to the coloured card as shown. Paint the girl’s dress pink with the same paints. Stamp a small clock image to the top right hand corner of the card and a flower image to the left hand corner.
Use CI – 006 and stamp it twice onto a white pearlescent paper, then cut out the smaller of the two butterflies in both cases. Paint each butterfly with a light wash of turquoise Twinkling H2O. Attach the butterflies using glue under the body and mini foam pads under the wings to the right hand side of the card as shown, and draw in the antennae.
Cut out the word ‘wish’ from tissue paper stamped with CI – 021, and glue to the bottom of the card.
To Finish
Glue the completed card on to a piece of black card meansuring exactly 64mm x 89mm (2 1/2” x 3 1/2”).
