Our own deeply etched, unmounted red rubber stamps have been designed with the cardmaker and decorative craftsperson in mind. We have divided our images up into three different collections in the online store, for your convenience. Stamp sizes are given in millimetres.
Designed by Jean Hardy, Malcolm Noble and friends, and often combining nostalgia, ephemera and collage on one stamp, we hope you will find them both attractive and useful. Some can be used with sticky fixers and be given a three dimensional and layered look. Try adding attractive buttons, real lace and coloured fine glitters for a stunning effect. We would love to view your results. Play and have fun!
You have asked us to make some stamps that you can use to make up your own backgrounds, or focal images, that are in the Crafty Individuals style but without being in a ‘finished’ format. We have produced the first four ‘mini plates’ to start a new series of stamps called ‘Crafty Elements’. We think you are going to love using these; and do check out the gallery for some initial inspiration on how to get started.
The plates all measure 96 x 187 and retail at £6.99. They are filled to the limit with useful images, and accordingly you will need fairly nimble fingers to cut these images out individually. We suggest you mount the plate on a sheet of ‘Kling On’ in the first instance and then cut out carefully with a sharp pair of scissors. After this the possibilities are endless for use in your general craft projects, card making or ATC’s. Have fun!
