When you log into your account on our web site or proceed to the checkout when placing an order (whether logged in or not), the information passing between your computer and our web server is fully encrypted to meet the standards set by the major banking, finance and payment processing organisations eg: Paypal and Sagepay. Our web server is itself secure, being located in a commercial data centre and protected by industry standard firewall and intrusion detection technologies.

When you pay by credit card, your card details are passed directly to one of the leading payment processing systems that then handles the transaction with your bank or card provider. We do not store or process any credit card details on our own system.

COOKIES

Cookies are very small data files that a web site can place on your computer in order to help the web site work correctly or to personalise the site for your use. For example, they are a way for web sites to keep track of who you are when you have logged in to them or to remember your preferences or to keep track of your shopping cart in the case of online shopping sites such as ours. While there are other technical ways to achieve these things, cookies are one of the most common and straight-forward methods to provide this kind of personalised web experience.

The Crafty Individuals’ website uses cookies to keep track of your shopping session so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time. It also uses cookies to remember who you are when you are logged in to your account on the site.

Our web site does not show any third-party advertising or similar content and we do not use any kind of third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

You may unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us. Please be assured that we do not release, share or sell this information to any other company or business.

ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You may view, or amend your personal data by logging into your account and changing any of the details held there, eg: change of address, etc.  Should you wish to delete your account please contact Crafty Individuals by email on info@craftyindividuals.co.uk and we will remove you from our system and email confirmation of this to you once this has been carried out. Please note we may contact you prior to competing deletion to ensure it is you who is requesting this and it has not come from an unsolicited source i.e. you personally wish to have your information removed and this is not a spiteful gesture on another's behalf.
